Rogers Communications has announced plans to purchase Bell’s shares of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE). The deal, worth an estimated $4.7 billion, will give Rogers 75 per cent ownership of MLSE. 

Dr. Ann Pegoraro from the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics is available for interviews about the buyout. Pegoraro is the Lang Chair in Sports Management, with research focusing on sport consumers, marketing and communication.
