The University of Guelph community is mourning the death of Monica Janicas, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) student studying animal biology who passed away March 19.

A visitation is planned for Monday, March 27, and a funeral mass on Tuesday, March 28 in Hamilton. Condolences to Monica’s family may be shared through the funeral home’s online memorial page.

Campus flags will be lowered to half-mast March 28 in Monica’s honour.
