The University of Guelph community is mourning the death of Dr. Gopinadhan Paliyath, a professor in the Department of Plant Agriculture, who passed away Sept. 11.
A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, Sept. 18 at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home in Waterloo. Condolences to Gopinadhan’s family may be shared through an online memorial site. Campus flags are currently at half-mast and will remain so on Sept. 19 to honour the passing of both Gopinadhan and Queen Elizabeth II.
