ntario Veterinary College professor Lee Niel, Population Medicine, was interviewed in a Toronto Star story Nov. 21 about pitbulls. Niel talked about the difficulty of enforcing a ban on the dogs and whether or not banning reduces human injuries and deaths from dog attacks. She studies animal behaviour, molecular genetics and neurobiology, as well as forms of dog aggression.
