Geography professor Evan Fraser, director of the Food Institute of the University of Guelph, was interviewed on CBC Radio’s The Current Dec. 1 (his interview begins at the 15:20 mark). He discussed the future of meat amid agricultural and environmental challenges with feeding more people worldwide and if he expects a tax to be implemented on meat, as the authors of one study are advocating. Fraser is the founder of Feeding9Billion.com, which seeks to generate discussion on how to feed a growing world population.
