As we near the end of the first week, I wanted to provide an update on the Gryphons At Work launch.

Training

As a reminder – all university employees (staff and faculty) need to complete training before July 29.

The series of videos and how to instruction guides on the Gryphons At Work Knowledge Site will teach you about the features of Gryphons At Work and how to manage your personal profile. Although everyone’s experience will be unique, several employees have reported that one to two hours is a generous amount of time to complete training.

Temporary Hold on Org Chart Support Requests

The project team has decided to temporarily hold off on processing any new reporting structure changes until our Department Administrators gain access to the system, anticipated to occur in approximately two weeks. This decision has been made for several reasons:

  • Reduction of Pending Transactions: By holding off on new reporting change requests, we can significantly reduce the number of pending transactions that our Service Associates are currently handling.
  • Addressing Footprint Tickets: This will also help in managing and addressing any existing Footprint tickets more effectively.
  • Empowering Dept Admins: Once Department Administrators have access, it will be their responsibility to manage and make reporting changes for their respective departments. This period will serve as an opportunity for them to familiarize themselves with the process and ensure a smoother transition of responsibilities.

I want to thank everyone who is helping and supporting the launch. Week #1 can be tough, and you are doing a great job. Thank you for your continued dedication and support.
