This session offers strategies for planning, outlining, drafting, and revising research articles in the sciences. We will explore the key components of the Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections. We will also provide a mapping tool that writers can use to organize their own scientific research articles. NOTE: Registered participants will receive a Zoom link

We will focus on specific strategies and techniques that writers can use to strengthen cohesion, concision, and clarity. We recommend that participants bring an example of their own scientific writing to the workshop (e.g., draft of a research article, lab report, critical review of a scientific research article). However, instructors can provide an example text
