New Microsoft Teams features

Microsoft Teams continues to evolve to better meet your online collaboration needs. Check out these new features:

  • Control access by setting yourself as the only presenter and as the only one who can bypass the Teams lobby
  • Manage the volume by preventing attendees from unmuting themselves
  • Easily join meetings by clicking the “Join” button right from your Outlook calendar.

Learn how to enable these features on the CCS website.

Study space in the University Centre

Students: Looking for a quiet and safe study space this exam season? Check out the University Centre’s new UC Study Spaces page. It includes maps of available study areas, health and safety rules and capacity numbers. And you’ll be close to caffeine and good food when you need a break!

Remember, face coverings are mandatory at all times in the UC except when eating or drinking.

The University’s COVID-19 website is your best source of information on U of G’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Return to Campuses website provides essential information for those coming to campus. If you need to be on campus, make sure you complete the U of G COVID-19 Screening Form every day before you arrive.
