Natural systems and human well-being are deeply connected. Ranaivo's research in Madagascar, Central America, and Kenya highlights the importance of forests, fisheries, and local community participation in their management to human health outcomes. Investments in nature conservation are therefore public health investments. Sustainable strategies must benefit both people and nature.

Despite a range of policies, promises, and protections, housing for people with disabilities—and specifically that considers the distinct experiences of women and gender-diverse people with disabilities—remains deeply inadequate in Ontario and across the country. People with disabilities face disproportionate rates of homelessness, housing insecurity, and housing inadequacy, and women with disabilities are especially likely to
