Wellness Friday: Cholesterol – Eating to Reduce Your Risk

High cholesterol is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke and increases health risks for over a third of North Americans. Fortunately, high cholesterol is largely preventable and treatable with the right diet and lifestyle. This session will examine the risks of different types of fat and cholesterol, and describe how to lower cholesterol levels with a healthy lifestyle and balanced diet.
