OPIRG invites you to the Ecological and Heritage Tour.

Embark on a fascinating exploration of Guelph’s natural and cultural heritage as we delve into the stories and significance of the Speed River while walking along the Royal Recreation Trail. Led by knowledgeable guides, this tour will give you an insight of the histories and ecological life that define our community.

Come along to enjoy stories of historical significance and cultural heritage sites along the banks, and have opportunities to observe local wildlife in their natural habitat. Learn how people have affected the river over the century.

Register to attend.

Tours will run from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 17, July 23, July 25, and July 31.

Tours will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sundays, July 14 and July 21.

Tours held on the Royal Recreational Trail. Meet at the Boat House, 116 Gordon St.
