The University’s normal business operations will be reduced on Monday, Oct. 14 for Thanksgiving weekend. Normal operations resume Tuesday, Oct. 15.
What’s open
Service areas open on Monday, Oct. 14 include:
- Athletics Centre
- Reduced hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
- University Centre (excluding Chef’s Hall, Brass Taps and The Lookout Patio + Grad Lounge)
- Main floor is open
- Hospitality Services
- Hours vary by location – view the full Hospitality schedule.
- Ontario Veterinary Health Sciences Centre, including the Companion Animal and Large Animal Clinics and the Farm Service Clinic
- Emergency referrals only
- Smith Lane Animal Hospital
- Hospital is closed. For after-hours emergencies during the holiday period, please call 519-823-8830 for further instructions on obtaining emergency care.
- Animal Health Lab
- Lab open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to receive samples only (no testing performed). Sample drop-off in vestibule is available 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- The Arboretum
- Grounds are open, buildings are closed (except for private events)
- Residence Desks
- South Desk (Prairie Hall), North Desk (Lennox/Addington Hall) and Gordon Desk (Gordon Hall): open 24 hours a day.
- East Desk (Dundas Hall): open 8 a.m. to midnight.
Note that the McLaughlin Library is closed from Saturday, Oct. 12 to Monday, Oct. 14.
Please check each unit’s specific website for hours of operation. Administrative offices are closed on Oct. 14, reopening on Oct. 15.
