manish-raizadaProf. Manish Raizada, Plant Agriculture, was interviewed by CBC Radio’s Quirks and Quarks Oct. 1. Raizada discussed his recent study finding that finger millet, a small cereal grain, is resistant to a devastating fungus that typically sickens humans and affects livestock. Raizada studies biotechnology and crop production.
