Food Scientists Make Headlines on Bacteria Outbreak

Speaking to CBC News and CTV News, Dr. Lawrence Goodridge, director of the Canadian Research Institute for Food Safety, discussed a bacterial outbreak linked to fresh produce impacting thousands in the U.S. He also discussed the risk to Canadians with CBC News and CTV’s Your Morning. Dr. Keith Warriner, professor in the Department of Food Science, also discussed with outbreak with Toronto Star, the National Post, CBC News and The Big Story podcast.

Goodridge also spoke to CTV’s Your Morning about arsenic levels found in rice.
