Learn how to extract valuable data from blog posts, news sites, social networks, Wikipedia and more! Web scraping is a powerful tool for pulling data that’s locked away in web content.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll learn how to use web scraping to automatically extract data from a variety of web sites. You’ll start by extracting structured table data from Wikipedia, then move on to more advanced tasks like scraping social networks and doing scrapes that follow links to scrape data from multiple pages.
