Set for the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Guelph Civic Museum, this lecture series will feature topics about nation building.  Presented in partnership between Guelph Museums and the University of Guelph.

Oct. 11, Professor Dennis Baker presents “Building Blocks of our Nation: Canada’s constitutional multiplicity”.

Dennis Baker is an associate professor of political science at the University of Guelph, where he also teaches as part of the Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy Program.  He holds a law degree from the University of Toronto and a PhD in political science from the University of Calgary.  He is the author of Not Quite Supreme: The Courts and Coordinate Constitutional Interpretation.  His work has appeared in the Supreme Court Law Review, Canadian Public Administration and the Review of Constitutional Studies among others.
