The University’s normal business operations will be reduced on Monday, Feb. 17 for the Family Day weekend. Normal operations resume Tuesday, Feb. 18. Reading Week at U of G runs Feb. 17 to 21.

Service areas open on Monday, Feb. 17 include:
- Athletics Centre
- Reduced hours
- University Centre (excluding Chef’s Hall, Brass Taps and The Lookout Patio + Grad Lounge)
- Main floor is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Hospitality Services
- Dining services hours vary by location. View Hospitality Reading Week hours.
- Ontario Veterinary College Health Sciences Centre, including the Companion Animal and Large Animal Clinics and the Farm Service Clinic
- Emergency referrals only
- Smith Lane Animal Hospital
- Hospital is closed. For after-hours emergencies during the holiday period, please call 519-823-8830 for further instructions on obtaining emergency care.
- Animal Health Lab
- Lab open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to receive samples only (no testing performed). Sample drop-off in vestibule is available 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- The Arboretum
- Grounds are open, buildings are closed (Owl Program available on Saturday, Feb 15th)
- Residence Desks – open 24 hours a day except for East Desk (Glengarry, Dundas and Lanark Halls and East Village) which is open 8 a.m. until midnight.
The McLaughlin Library is closed Sat., Feb 15 through Mon., Feb. 17 and open with reduced hours during Reading Week.
