Speaking to the Toronto Star, Dr. Keith Warriner, professor in the Department of Food Science, and  Dr. Lawrence Goodridge, director of the Canadian Research Institute for Food Safety, discussed recent salmonella outbreaks and shared tips on how people can protect themselves from food-borne illnesses.
