What’s new!

Starting September 1, 2024, the following changes will take effect:

Daily Permits:

  • Daily permits for P11 will no longer be available.
  • The discounted daily permit will still be available in P30.
  • Quantities are limited and can sell out.
  • If your preferred permit is not available, you must select another option or pay and park in the paybyphone/HONK locations

Fall Permits – Fall Semester permits will be available for purchase starting July 24.

  • Staff/Faculty, Graduate Students and Commuting students may purchase black, red, or yellow zone permits, depending on availability. 
  • Residence students may purchase yellow zone permits.  Residence students are required to park in designated lots located near their residence locations.
  • Permits are available on a first come, first served basis. 

New Permit Options:

  • Gordon Hall Only PermitsAvailable for faculty, staff, and students. 
    Allows you to park at the Gordon Hall Lot only, for a reduced monthly rate. 
  • P59 Only Monthly Permits – Available for faculty, staff and commuting students. 
    Allows you to park in P59 lot only for a reduced monthly rate.
  • P30 Only Monthly Permits – Available for faculty, staff and commuting students. 
    Allows you to park in P30 lot only for a reduced monthly rate.

Changes to EV parking restrictions:

  • 4 hour Daily Max limit is being removed from EV chargers in P15, P48, P49, P30 and P59.
  • 4 hour Daily max limit still applies in P4, P12, P23, and P31.
  • Your vehicle must be moved to a regular permit area when charging is complete or not required.

NEW Parking Space Allocations:

  • Yellow Zone areas:  P15, P18 & Planet Bean Coffee Shop Lot (P81)
  • Red Zone areas:  East Ring Road, Dundas Lane, P9, P11, P20, P32, P33, P35, P36, P51, and P64
  • Increase of 325 yellow spaces

Rideshare Program: 

  • Parking Services with Rideshark is implementing Campus Rideshare solution to help staff and students find others who want to carpool and commute to campus together. More details will be coming soon.

To purchase a permit, you’ll need an account with Parking Services.

  1. Complete a Student or Faculty/Staff Parking Account Request form online. If you had a parking permit in 2023/24, skip this step.
  2. Once you have an account, visit the Parking Services website.
  3. Log in with your central log-in credentials to purchase a permit.

Frequently Asked Questions

You are not required to do anything to continue a permit set up through payroll deduction.  You permit will automatically renew when it expires.  If you no longer require your payroll deduction permit, please fill out a permit cancellation form.
