Nominations for the annual Student Experience Awards are now open! These awards honour the achievements and contributions of campus leaders – including students, staff and faculty. Award winners have made a lasting difference in the lives of our students and in the strong relationship that is fostered between the campus and greater community.

- André Auger Citizenship Award
Celebrating an undergraduate or graduate student who has consistently demonstrated a sense of personal responsibility and commitment toward community.
- Brian D. Sullivan Student Leadership Award
Presented to a graduating student who has made significant contributions to student leadership through their involvement as an elected or appointed student representative.
- Erin Angus Graduate Student Engagement Award
Awarded to a graduate student who has made significant contributions to student life through their engagement within the campus community during the past year.
- Kishaadigeh Award
Presented to a First Nations, Métis or Inuit student who is engaged in co-curricular activities that enrich their educational experience and is achieving well academically. Recipients are connected in meaningful ways to the larger community, actively encouraging others to become involved and are role models for other Indigenous learners.
- Laurie Schnarr I Am A Gryphon Award
Recognizes individuals or teams who provide exceptional service to students and exemplify the I AM A GRYPHON commitments. Recipients have risen to meet a significant challenge, have demonstrated creativity or innovation in their approach, and as Gryphons, have been committed to being respectful, caring, determined, engaged and authentic.
- R.P. Gilmor Student Experience Award
Presented to an individual student or student group and an individual staff or faculty member/group committed to improving the student experience and who has contributed to the betterment of student life.
- Roberta Mason Award
Recognizes a student that, for the first time, has become actively involved in campus life and has made outstanding contributions to a club or organization.
- The Gordon Nixon Leadership Award
Annual grant funding of up to $10,000 for one or more campus-based student organizations or groups for support of significant new initiatives that promote student involvement, service and leadership.
