In a Canadian Press article, which appeared in several outlets including the Financial Post and CityNews Toronto, Pegoraro explored the changes Hockey Canada will need to make to its board and bylaws, saying “there’s a lot of pressure (…) to elect a board this time that is more representative of Canadians.”

In interviews with CTV News Channel, Pegoraro offered her thoughts on the scandal and the change that needs to happen, saying insight from those outside of hockey should be brought in to stabilize the organization.

Pegoraro has also spoken with and appeared on CBC Radio One, Global National News, CHCH TV, AM980 London, and Prince AlbertNow.

Throughout the scandal, she has continued to provide commentary, most recently on how community can help redefine Canadian hockey.

The director of the International Institute for Sport Business and Leadership, Pegoraro researches gender equity, sport consumers, marketing and communication and is also the co-director of the National Network for Research on Gender Equity in Canadian Sport.
