College of Biological Science ecologist Dr. Ryan Norris offered his thoughts to the Associated Press on a research project that employed radio trackers to monitor moth migration.
The article appeared in more than 100 publications, including the Washington Post and the San Franciso Chronicle. Â
Norris, who was not involved with the project, said the researchers’ ability to get a close-up look at insect migration is significant.
A professor in the Department of Integrative Biology, Norris researches the behaviour, conservation and evolution of migratory birds and insects.
