Dr. Georgia Mason

Behavioural biologist Dr. Georgia Mason and PhD student Jessica Cait are featured in the National Post. The article is a commentary they contributed to the Conversation Canada about their latest research on housing for lab mice.

The director of the Campbell Centre for the Study of Animal Welfare and a professor in the College of Biological Science, Mason studies how animals adapt to captive housing conditions.

As a student in Mason’s lab, Cait researches the impact of conventional housing on rodent health and well-being.
