Agribusiness Researcher Makes Headlines With Expertise on Food Prices

Agribusiness researcher Dr. Simon Somogyi explained the reasons behind food prices increase and offered tips for lowering the cost of groceries to two national media outlets.  

To the Toronto Star, Somogyi re-emphasized that current global food supply disruptions are still the predominant factor behind the high prices.  

In a video interview with CTV News.ca, Somogyi provided tips for reducing grocery bills in light of current food price inflation.

The Arrell Chair in the Business of Food and a professor in the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management, Somogyi researches agri-food value chain analysis and management.
