Toronto Star Consults U of G Epidemiologist on COVID in Schools

Dr. Amy Greer, a disease modelling researcher with the Ontario Veterinary College, spoke to the Toronto Star about why there hasn’t been more use of public health tools such as take-home COVID tests and rapid-antigen screening to avoid outbreaks in schools,

“In order to protect in-person learning, we need to pull out all of the stops,” Greer commented.

A professor in the Department of Population Medicine, Greer holds the Canada Research Chair in Population Disease Modelling.
