Dana McCauley, associate director of new venture creation at U of G’s Research Innovation Office, spoke to the Toronto Star about a new service in which all the fixings for creating a full Thanksgiving meal are put together into a kit by the meal prep delivery service Hello Fresh.

McCauley is an expert in food trends. She said she liked the idea of the holiday meal kit, and said a simple kit could draw novice customers to the service.

As part of her work at the Research Innovation Office, McCauley helps Canada’s agri-food researchers to transform their ideas and discoveries into commercial food and retail products and services that fulfill consumer needs.
