This spring has been a particularly frustrating one for most growers in Ontario, with rain dominating the forecast every week, leaving most fields soaked and unfit for seeding.

The deadline for planting corn is approaching quickly, leaving many growers wondering whether they will need to switch to shorter-season hybrid crops to maximize their yield potential this season.
