Professor emeritus Ian Duncan, Animal Biosciences, was interviewed by Business News Network June 15 for a story on animal welfare practices in farming. Duncan, who studies farm animal welfare, spoke about a hidden camera investigation by an animal rights group that found chickens were being abused on a B.C. farm. He said the video was extremely troubling, and that farming should not be violent.
