School of Environmental Sciences professor Mike Dixon, director of the University of Guelph’s Controlled Environment Systems Research Facility, was interviewed in a Toronto Star story Jan. 27 on growing food in space. The story examined how food is grown in various climates and locations on Earth, and looked at Dixon’s Tomatosphere project. His research team is also helping to grow food in controlled environments such as greenhouses.
