Prof. Michael von Massow, Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics, was interviewed by CTV News Channel and Global News Dec. 6. He discussed a recent report predicting higher food prices in 2017. Fruit and vegetable prices are the most likely to go up, as they are imported from other countries and the Canadian dollar is expected to be weak, von Massow said. He studies food value chains, food waste, grocery store economics and food pricing.
