She discussed an equine data collection project in the Maritimes in which U of G researchers are looking at preventing and controlling infectious diseases in horses. Holder of a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Population Disease Modelling, Greer studies the introduction, spread, dynamics and control of infectious diseases in populations.
