Join Professor Emeritus Wayne Caldwell as he reflects on his distinguished career in rural planning, agricultural preservation, and sustainable development, with a particular focus on his work in promoting healthy rural communities. Dr. Caldwell will explore the connections between rural health, sustainable communities, and environmental planning, highlighting insights from his work, including the Healthy Rural Communities Toolkit. This seminar will emphasize the role of integrated planning in supporting resilient rural systems and its alignment with the One Health approach. A 30-minute presentation will be followed by a 20-minute Q&A, offering students and faculty the opportunity to engage with his contributions and their implications for One Health.
