DESCRIPTION:Born with the brain of a robot and the heart of a bull\, Dr. Megabyte stretches technology to its limits in the pursuit of sound as sensation\, emotion\, and introspection. In his performances\, you will hear found sounds mixed with synthesized sounds and noise\, then transformed through time and frequency manipulation. \nMatthew James Borland (a.k.a. Dr. Megabyte) is also giving open lectures and demonstrations in ALEX 071 on October 22-24 from 10 a.m. to 11:20 am. \nAll are welcome. \nFree admission.
