DESCRIPTION:After the holiday season\, many of us may be trying to get back into our typical routines and start incorporating more physical activity into our day-to-day. But it may be overwhelming to try and find where to start safely in a way that feels good for your body and also is sustainable in the long term. \nJoin the Health and Performance Centre’s (HPC) physiotherapy experts to learn how to safely increase your physical activity levels during the winter months! In this talk facilitators will: \n\nprovide practical and manageable ways to increase physical activity\ndiscuss how increasing activity looks different depending on the type of activity (i.e.\, strength training vs aerobic training)\nshare different activity options for the outdoors vs going to the gym\nanswer attendee questions related to the topic\n\nRegister at https://uoguelph.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5vaYjL2CnMl17tc. You can submit questions when your register that will be answered during the talks. \nThe HPC Physical Well-being Series is a collaboration between Wellness@Work and the University of Guelph’s Health & Performance Centre.
