SUMMARY:2017 P4E Career Fair
DESCRIPTION:The 2017 Partnerships for Employment (P4E) Career Fair will take place at RIM Park in Waterloo on September 27. Free bus transportation leaves the University Centre every 30 mins\, starting at 9:30 a.m. Buses will pick up at the doors by the bus loop. \nThis is the largest career fair of its kind in the country. It is open to students and alumni from the University of Guelph\, Wilfrid Laurier University\, University of Waterloo and Conestoga College. \nStudents from all programs and all years are encouraged to attend and meet with more than 200 employers

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the launch of Re•Vision: The Centre for Art and Social Justice. The Re•Vision Centre for Art and Social Justice is a newly established social science and arts-informed research centre at the University of Guelph in the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences. Re•Vision has a mandate to use arts-informed and community engaged research methods to foster inclusive communities\, well-being\, equity and justice. We investigate the power of the arts\, and especially story\, to positively influence decision-makers\, to build intersectional alliances and to imagine more just futures. \nThe evening will include light refreshments\, a cash bar and riveting talks from Indigenous education leader and scholar Dr. Susan Dion\, cutting-edge disability artist and academic Dr. Eliza Chandler\, and artistic performance by the brilliant Indigenous and disability-identified artist Vanessa Dion Fletcher.
