Please join us for a short walk through The Guelph Arboretum to explore the Land and learn about the Seven Canopy Teachings brough to us by Elder Duke Redbird. \nHaudenosaunee U of G Staff Member\, Cara Loft\, will lead a guided walk through The Arboretum to help us reconnect our spirits with the Land and to learn from the Plants. Elder Duke Redbird has provided us with an understanding on Plant teachings and how the relate to the Seven Grandfather Teachings for the Anishinaabeg people from Turtle Island (North America). Cara Loft will be opening and closing her walk with a Traditional Indigenous Handdrum Song. Remember to dress for the weather! All are welcome! Nia:wen! DESCRIPTION:The Graduate Student Accountability Group provides a welcoming\, safe and productive online space for graduate students to do their work. The group is facilitated by a learning specialist and is designed to help you identify small goals and accomplish them during short work periods. \nComments from previous participants: \n“The group is a great way to work in community and accomplish tasks in a set amount of time.” \n“DO IT! I was able to tackle lack of motivation and be productive in each session.
