DESCRIPTION:Connect with colleagues while working on your writing skills!  On Wednesday mornings in July\, participants will get together to socialize\, learn about writing skills\, and spend time working on a their writing projects. \n\nLocation: McLaughlin Library\, Room 384\nDates: July 10\, 17\, 24\, 31\nTime: 9:30 – 12 pm\nSchedule:\n\n9:30 to 10 a.m.: Group discussion\n10 to 10:30 a.m.: Short lesson on an academic writing skill\n10:30 a.m. to noon: Focused writing time\n\n\n\nNote: The event facilitator will be available for writing consultations during focused writing time.\nAfter registering for this event\, you will be invited to join an Academic Support Community for English language learners on Microsoft Teams. Writing and Learning Services staff will post regular updates about events to the group.
