SUMMARY:Writing in the Sciences: Scientific Writing Style
DESCRIPTION:We will focus on specific strategies and techniques that writers can use to strengthen cohesion\, concision\, and clarity. We recommend that participants bring an example of their own scientific writing to the workshop (e.g.\, draft of a research article\, lab report\, critical review of a scientific research article). However\, instructors can provide an example text for participants. NOTE: your writing will not be shared with anyone; you will use it to practice techniques during the workshop. \nRegistered participants will receive a Zoom link one day before the event. \nFor more information\, please visit our writing\, learning\, and research skills workshops page.
