SUMMARY:Respecting Indigenous Sovereignty Through Research Knowledge Management Strategies
DESCRIPTION:Learn from Dani Nowosad as she shares the background and context of her ongoing research relationship with Inuit Hunter-Trapper Organizations (HTOs). She will be sharing the research data management agreement that she co-developed through working relationships with the Inuit-led HTOs in Cambridge Bay and Kugluktuk\, Nunavut. The Teams meeting link will be sent one day before the webinar. \nDani (she/her) is a Red River Métis-German PhD candidate at the University of Guelph who was born\, raised\, and currently lives on Treaty 1 territory in Manitoba. She is currently wrapping up her PhD in Integrative Biology\, during which she has had the opportunity to work on Inuinnait Nuna\, the Inuit homelands in Kitikmeot\, Nunavut. \nThis webinar is supported by the Office of Indigenous Initiatives\, Research Services Office\, Library and College of Biological Sciences.
