DESCRIPTION:Building upon the success of the Go ENG Girl and Go CODE Girl models\, Women in Engineering and Physics outreach teams at the University of Guelph are piloting the first of its kind Go PHYS Girl on March 23. This event will be designed for all girl and non-binary students in Grades 7 to 10 to spend a half-day on campus to learn all about the incredible world of Physics and future career opportunities. \nRoyal City Science\, Guelph Physics Department and Creative Encounters will be collaborating to give an exciting day of Physics! As a bonus\, Royal City Science and Guelph Physics will have their new inflatable planetarium to engage youth about the night sky.

Through generous donors\, OVC Pet Trust funds a wide range of studies that help to improve the health of a variety of pet species. The goal of the studies are to improve or develop new diagnostic tests and treatments and to examine the human-animal bond. DESCRIPTION:The White Coat Ceremony celebrates the transition a student veterinarian is making from pre-clinical learning to the applied learning they will experience in their final year\, working with veterinarians in managing clinical patients both within OVC and at external placements with our community partner practices. \nSpeeches are given by the Ontario Veterinary College dean\, Ontario Veterinary Medical Association\, College of Veterinarians of Ontario and the OVC Alumni Association. The head of clinical program then speaks and each student is announced and ‘coated’.
