DESCRIPTION:College Royal is the largest university open house event of its kind in North America. Each March\, the University of Guelph opens its doors to the general public in a campus-wide open house that attracts thousands of visitors every year. College Royal is a 100% student run and organized event. \nWhether you are a member of the general public curious to see what goes on at the “University on the hill” or a student looking to become involved\, we invite you to join us. Come and join the fun this March! \nFor the general public we invite you to come and visit the campus for Open House Weekend. Check out events like Old MacDonalds New Farm\, Square Dancing Competition\, the Dog Show\, the various Club Displays\, and much more. \nHeld during the last weekend of March Break each year\, Open House Weekend is a chance to explore the university campus and see what the professors and students are up to. College Royal is a ​FREE event for the entire family. Each year we welcome over 20\,000 visitors. \nCollege Royal has been a tradition at the University of Guelph since 1925. That puts College Royal in its 100th year this March! Come and join the fun that has brought families and students alike to the University of Guelph for 10 decades!
