SUMMARY:1-in-5 Mental Health Awareness Week
DESCRIPTION:The 1 in 5 committee presents Mental Health Awareness Week from Nov. 9 to 13. This initiative is developed by U of G students and staff to promote mental wellness and open the dialogue about mental health. Campus partners includes the Wellness Education Centre\, ResLife\, Office of Intercultural Affairs\, Multi-Faith Resource Team\, Student Support Network\, Jack.org\, Central Student Association\, the Aboriginal Resource Centre and Athletics. The event aims to provide students with information and resources to support their mental health. \nAll of the events are free\, and all students\, staff and faculty are encouraged to attend. Join us for a series of events throughout the week all over campus. Events include a yoga class\, a stress and sleep management workshop\, the Let’s Talk Mental Health panel discussion and two varsity basketball games.
